As many students, who learn English as a second language, I am always looking for the good websites to help myself improve my English skills. There are a forest of English websites in the Internet. With my own experience with these website below, I hope it can help you save your time to searching and inspire you to find your favourite websites.
Yes, I know. Duolingo is one of the most popular self learning webite now. I recommend Duolingo because with the simple practice sentences, which you have to do again and again plus the grammar explanation, you can definitely improve your vocabulary and remember the grammar longer.
A good website to improve your vocabulary ( Really good for prep SAT test)
I really like their topics, their course and their features. This website help me a lot with my pronunciation, word using and improve my knowledge about the world by their articles.
This website is good for reading, I feel it more like a news website than a language website. Under their education category, there are a lot of useful and interesting articles. The website is also a combination many other good categories fx. food, health, travel, style and more...
The website is very useful to learn English grammar, speaking and tips to learn English and use it in real life.

My experience is I like their word games, quizzes and their "reading page". Every text is not too long but not too easy to read. Just one text everyday and you can see how much it will help you improve your reading skills

Good website for practicing with Begginer, Intermediate and Advance levels. There are also good English resources for teacher, but useful for students too. :D
It's a grammar exercises web. As its name, this website is quite easy to use. When you click to the page the English Quiz Zone will appear, you can do as many questions as you like. You also can click on the "English tests" title and choose Easy, Medium or Difficult to practice.
